There are two types of stainless steel coils in thickness. One is cold rolling and the other is hot rolling. The thickness is 0.05mm to 16mm. Upon delivery, the tolerance of the thickness range is cold rolled: ±0.02mm, hot rolled: ±0.05mm".A correctly polished stainless steel surface has a better resistance to corrosion than a surface that is roughly or badly polished, for use in aggressive environments, such as in the offshore or nuclear industries. All stainless steel finishes perform better when maintained and cleaned correctly.
